The Tri-Cities Drum Circle was a community drum circle serving Hand Drummers in and around the Tri-Cities area of Washington State including Central and South-Eastern Washington and North-Eastern Oregon... the high desert of the Pacific Northwest and the Columbia River Basin. It ran continuously from 2000 until 2010 with facilitated monthly jams and workshops (120 in all) as well as children's drummings, senior center drummings, silo drummings, hearth drummings, roadtrips to drumming clinics and rhythm festivals, candlelight drummings, campfire drummings and other special events. It had over 250 participants involved from the local area and from as far away as Wenatchee, Ellensburg, Moses Lake, Ritzville, Spokane, Yakima, Toppenish, Sunnyside and Prosser, The Dalles, Benton City, Richland and West Richland, Kennewick, Pasco, Othello, Walla Walla, Pullman, Umatilla, Hermiston, and Pendleton. The Tri-Cities Drum Circle hosted its last event on Saturday December 11th, 2010 from 7pm to 10pm.
