                                   With the spiritual bankruptcy of the West, niche bookshops like ours have reached an impasse.  Both the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in Southern California (since 1972) and Fields Bookstore in San Francisco (since 1932) have closed their doors. In the face of rapidly rising ignorance and the fact that esoteric books are becoming an endangered species, we too are retreating to allow the necessary darkness to ascend. The light shall return and so shall we, probably by Summer, 2014. Meantime, we are now aligning with affiliates to ship the more mainstream material.
