Ericaceae-Neotropical Blueberries James L. Luteyn and Paola Pedraza-Peñalosa Bejaria racemosa (temperate species) Mutis ex Linnaeus (Ericaceae, Vaccinioideae, Rhododendroideae), is a genus of 15 species of trees and shrubs.  It is characterized by 7-merous flowers, free petals, capsular fruits, non-appendaged anthers, and viscin threads intermixed with the pollen tetrads.  It is sometimes considered morphologically and anatomically isolated within the Rhododendroideae.
