Sinus Surgery | The Personal Blog of Chris Fehnel Random ramblings of zero importance As Colin mentioned in his requests for Songs of the Week, I had minor sinus surgery this past Thursday. I thought it was going to be a walk in the park and not painful at all, but I have been a little bit displeasantly surprised.First off, when I got out of surgery I was in a lot of pain. The doctor said it would take between an hour to an hour and a half. From what my brother told me, I was in surgery for well over 2 hours. When I “woke up†it felt like it. I not only couldn’t throw up, even though I really wanted to, but I also could breathe through my nose so it made me want to puke worse.
