For the latest news, meeting dates, and a list of future trips go to the The 50+ Ski Club of Long Island, New York has been in existence for about 20 years. It has a membership of about 150 adults aged 50 and older. The only requirement for membership is age. Most members live in either Nassau or Suffolk Counties in New York but some members live in New Jersey, Manhattan, or even farther away. Meetings are held once a month except for the summer. The main goal of the club is skiing but during the off season the club arranges other activities for its members. The club has a newsletter that is mailed to its members once a month. Dues are $30 for a single or $45 for a married couple. (The picture on the right is a mid-week ski trip to Hunter Mountain.)
