Description: A club program of the North Allegheny School District, Pittsburgh.
Certified Sports Nutritionist, Amie Patsilevas will be speaking to the team at the conclusion of practice (5 pm) this Friday, February 14th, in the NAI lower gym. Our rowers put intense physical demands on their bodies, but like most teenagers, they probably don't pay much attention to what they eat. They just eat a lot because they're burning a lot of calories! Amie is a former power lifter and figure competitor who is well versed in the nutritional needs of athletes. She typically works one on one with clients to put together personalized plans. In this informal presentation and Q&A session, she'll be covering some of the topics below:
