Description: A graphic archive of the club’s football kits by Dave Moor. Historical Football Kits.
Loughborough Town - Historical Football Kits Elected to Division Two 1895. Failed re-election 1900. The club was formed in 1886 with the merger of the two leading teams in the Leicestershire town, Victoria FC and Athletic FC. A year later they absorbed the local athletics club and became formally known as Loughborough Athletic & Football Club. They were commonly called "Loughborough Town" (see picture left) but it seems there is no documentary evidence to support this. (Just to confuse matters, in 1894 a separate club, Loughborough Athletic was formed, which still exists.)
