Site updated 6th May 2007(add Cabin accommodation - Crookneck Retreat, owner will be running 100 miles in September). A new web site is being developed (www.runtrails.org) which will supercede this site eventually. It will also have a link to TRAQ(Trail Running Association of Queensland), a newly formed association for trail running enthusiasts. Several running events are held near the Glasshouse Mountains each year. The Glasshouse 100 will be held on September 8/9 2007. The course is around the spectacular Glass House Mountains which are 60km north of Brisbane. The area is noted for the scenery and sub-tropical fruits such as pineapples, custard apples and avocadoes. An 80km event will be offered in May so prospective entrants in the 100 miles can experience night running(start time 3am). Go to the Glasshouse Trail Information above for more details.
