Description: Based in Tatum, Texas and promotes front engine Top Fuel dragster racing east of the Rockies, "Alternative Sanctioning Organization" of the NHRA, and an SFI Foundation "Member Sanctioning Body." Includes team profiles, competition and event rules, and related links.
The Outlaw Nitro Alliance was formed in August of 2002 for the purpose of promoting front engine Top Fuel dragster racing, east of the Rockies. The ONA is an NHRA approved "Alternative Sanctioning Organization," and an SFI Foundation "Member Sanctioning Body." Among the ONA's members are a number of veteran nitro racers and a few young members who are stepping up from other forms of racing. We offer a number of attractive race packages that will enable track owners to bring in a professional nitro show to augment their regular weekly racing. Pre-race displays, static fire-ups, autograph and photo-ops, and our own "Crewperson for a day" contest are also available. All of the ONA member Top Fuel Dragsters, while maintaining a retro appearance, are modern, purposed-built race cars meeting all current safety requirements.
