| Description: | Hando Jikishin Ju Jitsu Clubs are a long established Ju Jitsu training facility offering junior and senior training to a wide variety of students throughout West Essex and East Herts. The clubs, which are located in at Mark Hall Sport Centre, Harlow and Ongar Leisure Centre started in 1979 and has many years' experience in the sports and art of Ju Jitsu. With a close-knit unit of 5 enthusiastic instructors, Hando Ju Jitsu Clubs have a great team, highly skilled with three 4th Dan and two Third Dan Instructors, all UK Governing Body Qualified and with CRB clearance. The club aims to equip students with a range of skills. The expert coaches ensure students benefit from a range of self-defence and ground fighting skills. The training is intended to give all students the confidence and skills to deal with potentially dangerous situations; every time. The Clubs are headed by Sensei Earl Walker who has worked within the martial arts, self-defence, and personal safety sector for many years. Having previously been involved in boxing, wrestling and door control, Earl Walker is more than qualified to look after the needs of any student, whether the intention is to compete, or simply learn to look after themselves. Hando Ju Jitsu Clubs have a core of enthusiastic and dedicated students and coaches, based in and around Harlow, including members of the armed services, police and semi professional cage fighters. The clubs develop a wide range of skills that are easy to learn and as skill levels rise, so the techniques become more appropriate for the level of the students rising ability. The techniques are suitable for all ages and abilities, making them perfect for anyone interested in being able to look after themselves in the violent streets of the modern world, and remain available wherever and wherever needed. |
