After coming a close second in a very close and entertaining game at Druid with Darlington as visitors, the 1st XV took some positives from the game. Our four tries in the 35-30 defeat saw us earn a second bonus point. Meanwhile, the Phoenix produced a strong performance at Alnwick to win 24-0 and the Falcons, in another high scoring game came second to Blaydon Bricks away by 21-32. This Saturday sees the 1st XV away to an improving Gateshead; the Phoenix at Northumbria Uni in the re-arranged cup-tie (KO 2.30 pm)and the Falcons at West End. Other KO's this weekend are at 3pm.
