Played at Raymond James Stadium before an announced crowd of 51,296, LSU earned their 10th win of the season and Hill was voted Outback Bowl MVP. The offense generated 302 yards, mostly coming on the ground, and freshman quarterback Anthony Jennings, making his first start, threw for 82 yards.
