D.C. Divas - Pro-Women's Football in Washington, DC ! Start your new year right with a season pass to D.C.'s best football! Coach Ezra Cooper, known affectionately as “Coop,†passed away October 26, 2013, at his home from an apparent heart attack. He was head coach from the D.C. Divas first season in 2001 through 2008 and quickly built the Divas into a national power house. Coach Cooper’s overall record was 57-16, and during that time had four consecutive undefeated regular seasons. He led the team to an undefeated national championship in 2006, two Eastern Conference Championships, and five Division Championships. He returned in 2011 as the defensive coordinator and helped the team to another Division Championship.
