Author Tena Bastian has spent a lifetime loving horses. She and her husband Michael or Bear as he is known live in Swanton Ohio where they own and operate Bear Back Ranch and Kennel. Tena is the author of 6 books. Three are available in standard book format and three are available for download on Kindle at amazon.com. Tena has spent several years traveling the country presenting seminars on horses. She has been a featured guest on 2 syndicated radio talk shows and some of her venues have included Equine Affaire, The Western States Horse Expo and The North American Horse Spectacular. Her books have gone into reprint, have been translated into foreign language and have been used as required reading material for several Equine college courses. Glowing reviews of her books have graced the pages of most major horse magazines and she has been the subject of many articles over the years. Tena and Bear have added a dog boarding kennel to their property and raise Miniature Australian Shepherds.
