The pedigrees of our horses are selected for their consistency in producing friendly, willing, trainable dispositions and solid, substantial body types with conformational soundness and longevity; all wrapped up in a true eye appealing horse that could be called nothing else other than "the Old Style Morgan". Our sought after foundation bloodlines are Morgans of the traditional Western Working Family (WWF Morgan) with much of our breeding stock carrying concentrated Old California bloodlines. The picture perfect "baroque" style of the Old California bred Morgan horse trained in the tradition of the vaquero is what captured my heart when I was 10 years old, and it is this past heritage, of both Morgan and vaquero, that Butte Morgans continues to bring forth into the future.
