Cincinnati Cricket Club - Cincinnati Cricket Club KALVIN CINCINNATI I WIN THE MIDWEST CRICKET TOURNAMENT Kalvin Cincinnati I beat Columbus CC Red by 103 runs to win the 2013 Midwest Cricket Tournament for the first time in club history. Batting first, Cincinnati scored 228/9 in 35 overs with Pirabu leading the way scoring an unbeaten 73. The opening pair of Thiag (40) and Nabil (33) set the tone of the innings with a brisk partnership and useful contributions from the lower middle order powered Cincy to a formidable score. Columbus CC Red were blown away right from the start of their chase with Niri taking 3 wickets in his first 3 overs. Sandeep bowled well to take 2 wickets and Krishna's pace was too much for the Columbus batsmen as they were bundled out for 125 in 32 overs. In the end, Cincinnati I proved to be the better side in the contest as they outplayed Columbus Red in all areas of the game. Pirabu was awarded the Finals Man of the Match. Fantastic victory and well deserved championship
