FALCONS SITTING IN 4TH AFTER WEEKEND SPLIT On Friday night the Langara Falcons took on the Camosun College Chargers in their first meeting of the season. The Falcons got off to a slow start, down 14 to 8 at the end of the first quarter. The Chargers pushed their lead to 12 at halftime. In the second half the Falcons upped the pressure and held the Chargers to just four points in the 3rd quarter, but still found themselves down 16 points with 4 minutes to go in the quarter.  Denise Busayong hit 3 three pointers in the half on her way to 17 points in the game, and Charlotte Lau contributed 9 points as the Falcons clawed their way back and went on a 8 point run to end the game. The Falcons got the win 47 to 41.
