LANGARA EXTEND CONSECUTIVE WIN STREAK TO 15 The Langara men’s basketball team have now locked up first place after a weekend sweep over KPU and CBC and they have extended their win streak to 15 straight games. On Thursday the Falcons took on the KPU Eagles at their Surrey Campus and were able to slowly build a double digit lead as they led 53 to 39 at the half. In the third quarter the Falcons really stepped up their game as they outscored the Eagles 30 to 12 as they went on to a comfortable win 100 to 64. Langara got contributions from many players including Brody Greig with 22 points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. “I loved the way Brody attacked the rim tonight especially with the huge one hand slam he had in the third quarter,†commented head coach Eberhardt. Jitinder Lohcham had 17 points while Max Neumann contributed 13 points. Matt Madewan and Jesse Mushiana chipped in with 12 points each and Elliot Mason pulled down 6 rebounds. “It was a good effort tonight and we controlled the game from start to finish,†noted Coach Ebe
