Addressing the unfair taxation of interstate teleworkers is an issue that we have championed for many years. TelCoa strongly supports the Multi-State Worker Act. This proposed federal legislation would eliminate the telecommuter tax - a harsh tax penalty that burdens interstate telecommuters and their employers and limits telework adoption. The measure has been introduced in previous sessions of Congress as the Telecommuter Tax Fairness Act. It must be reintroduced in the 113th Congress and finally enacted.
