International Yoga Studies Home Our focus at International Yoga Studies is on quality and integrity in education. After many years training teachers and students in Europe I was blessed with the good fortune to sit in on the European Unions Education Committee’s yearly meetings for three years. There were representatives from 18 European countries and at these meetings I learned about each country’s training methods and standards. In the mid-nineties an agreement on a 4-year, 500 hour ‘Initial Yoga Training’ resulted from more than a decade of those meetings. This ‘Initial Yoga Training’ was then adopted by more than 18 European Union member countries.
