Latino American Dawah Organization (LADO) Since its beginning in 1997, LADO has been an organization committed to promoting Islam among the Latino community within the United States. We focus on educating Latinos about Islam as a way of life. We also educate Latinos and others about the legacy of Islam in Spain and Latin America as well as about the growing Latino Muslim community in the United States. While adhering to our guiding principles, we accomplish our mission through an array of programs, services, and publications. For example, we provide free information about Islam to all interested parties.
