Welcome to the Unmercenary Sacred Music Site. This site is dedicated to providing free congregational liturgical music for Orthodox and Catholic communities. The prevailing standard on this site is congregational participation in worship of the undivided Trinity using traditional ecclesiastical chant. Most of the music found here are adaptations from chant. Chant styles range from four-part Galician chant to Gregorian plainchant. Everything here is distributed freely. For that reason, it is an Unmercenary site, which operates under the patronage of the unmercenary physicians, Saints Cosmas and Damian.
