Smith How the Internet Can Enhance the Study of American Lutheranism "In Christ there is no east or west, in Him no south or north, but one great fellowship of love throughout the whole wide earth."1 The words of this hymn came to mind when I first read the title of my presentation in the conference brochure. "The South" indeed has "Data Resources." Yet on the internet there also is "no south or north." Texts, data and other forms of information stored on computers in Georgia are easily available to any computer user in world. All it takes is a computer, a modem and access to a computer information service on the internet.
