| Description: | Our vision is to see the children and young people of Scotland exploring the Bible and responding to the significance of Jesus. We work in schools running SU Groups, leading assemblies, helping with RME, working with chaplaincy teams and presenting Christmas and Easter activities. Our Classroom Outdoors programme also gives the opportunity for teachers to bring pupils to one of our activity centres for an educational trip. During the Easter, summer and October breaks we run a wide range of SU Holidays for 10-18 year olds, and we partner with local churches to run missions for children and their families. Our two activity centres, Lendrick Muir and Alltnacriche, host thousands of children and young people each year on school trips, regional weekends away and SU Holidays. We run discipleship training programmes and events for young people, and are also involved in online discipleship through our ignite website. Our desire is to see children and young people praying, meeting God and experiencing answers to prayer. We run several prayer events throughout the year for children, young people and their families, and we also encourage people to pray for their local schools and pupils. |
