Improved Financial Relationship Model Effective July 1st, St. Thomas Aquinas parish began participation in the Improved Financial Relationship Model (IFRM), which fundamentally changed the financial relationship between all parishes and the Archdiocese of Boston. Â The IFRM, first introduced in 2009, is a fair share financial model by which parishes are asked to support the Archdiocese of Boston and Central Ministries on an equal percentage basis. Â At the recommendation of the Parish Finance Council, we deferred participation in the program each year since 2009, but effective July 1st, all parishes in the Archdiocese of Boston are now required to participate. Â
