Saint Gerald Catholic Church - Ralston, NE Welcome to Saint Gerald Catholic Church Many people have come forward to wish me their sympathy and condolences over the death of my Mom. I want to thank you for your kind sentiments and for your prayers and good wishes. It's amazing being on the receiving end of a funeral especially when it is one's own parent. As I have offered often to families who have lost their last parent, they are now the oldest generation. There is frailty, fragility and responsibility all wrapped up in that experience. Mom lived a good long life but she had been talking about and thinking about death for a good long time. Her 100th was a wonderful event. Once again, thank you.
