Niels Prip's Blog | "Thy statutes have been my songs, in the house of my pilgrimage" Ps 119:54 "Thy statutes have been my songs, in the house of my pilgrimage" Ps 119:54 Wouldn’t it be nice if when someone spoke a prophetic word in a meeting, the elders of the church would pause and judge what was said?  Maybe even write down the “word” to see if it comes to pass. If they were unsure about the word that was given, that could be the grace given, it would be written down for a season, to see if it was God or not. And if it proved to not be God, an elder would stand up and say, “We were not sure if this was God, but now sufficient time has passed, and we now are confident that it was not God”, or “We are now confident that it was God”.
