Oakwood Baptist Church | A place to call home Sunday Morning @ 10 am & 11 am I am a Christian by the new birth and a Baptist by choice. I was raised in a United Methodist Church and attended a Church of God for about two years in the days following my conversion. I left the Church of God for doctrinal reasons. At some point I was invited to an independent Baptist church and have been an independent Baptist ever since. Through the years I have defended my Baptist beliefs over and over again.
