Welcome to Buesingen International You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your might. During the time between Christmas and the New Year, I take the new calendar to fill in the dates, the tasks and the events that are already planned. I also go through the old calendar. Some things have been canceled; some situations have turned out different than what I had expected. For instance, we all experience a loss of a good friend, a tedious sickness or an unexpected challenge on the job. All of this shows how little influence or control we have over our activities. Of course we need to plan, there are deadlines to keep, and there are events to prepare, but we should plan with the conviction that God is setting the course, He moves heaven and earth. In the New Year I want to be open for His leading; I want to put Him on the first place, again and again, day by day. I don’t want to see His intervention as disturbances in my daily life; instead I want to be ready for them. I want to live according to His will and work with Him. As James puts it: “If it is the Lord’s will, we will live and do this or that.” (James 4:15)
