Grace Presbyterian Church: Springfield, VA Growing in Spirit, Living as Disciples, Grace's Lenten journey includes the following adult education classes that are offered Sundays at 10:00 AM in the Family Room through April 13.: Sunday, March 2, “Reclaiming Lent,†a Reformed Protestant perspective on Lenten traditions and practices. “Exile and Homecoming: A Lenten Journey with the Prophet Isaiah†This study uses the theme of exile and homecoming in the book of Isaiah as a lens through which to examine biblical and contemporary experiences of sin and redemption, judgment and forgiveness. As we move toward Holy Week and Easter, we’ll make connections between Israel’s story and the death and resurrection of Jesus. The course, to be led by Pastor Lisa and members of the Adult Discipleship team, will include two video presentations by Old Testament scholar Patricia K. Tull.
