Upper Ridgewood Community Church to the Upper Ridgewood Community Church! We are a congregation of thinking and searching persons, with respect for one another as we live our Christian faith. Our heritage is the Presbyterian/Reformed family of churches. We are a congregation of the Reformed Church in America, the oldest, protestant denomination in America with a continuous ministry since 1628. Our members come from various denomination and church backgrounds. Members reside in the village of Ridgewood and surrounding communities. Some walk to church and others commute a thirty-minute drive. Early members of URCC were fond of saying that “the church is not made from walls; it is a group of human hearts bound together by a common vision; feeling themselves heirs of a common purposeâ€. That sentiment still continues to guide us today.
