Caro United Methodist Church - A Great Place to Worship, Grow and Serve   I will be going on a mission trip to Haiti March 21-30 with a school group. We will be doing medical work in some of the villages at clinics previously established by the school group. One of the things we plan to take with us are dresses that we are making out of pillow cases for the little girls. We are asking for donations and I thought maybe someone from home would like to help! Of course they are going to be dresses so the more fun and colorful the patterns the better, but we would prefer they don't have cartoon characters or the like on them. Any monetary donations would be put to good use, and if nothing else your prayers would be greatly appreciated as we prepare, and of course while we are on the trip. I've attached the link below in case anyone wants to get really inventive and make the dresses themselves and/or see how they're made and there's some great photos in google images if someone is interested. We plan to make the dresses the first week of March, so if I could have them by then that'd be great, otherwise they'll be put in the pile for next year's trip.Â
