Welcome | Dharma Centre of Canada The Dharma Centre of Canada is a non-sectarian organization dedicated to awakening compassion, awareness and wisdom. Founded in Toronto by the Venerable Namgyal Rinpoche in 1966, the Centre hosts inspiring and practical programs in meditation and related explorations in a natural environment at its rural retreat near Kinmount, Ontario, as well as co-sponsoring talks and courses in the region by well qualified teachers. The teachers associated with the Dharma Centre represent various traditions and a teacher is often in residence at Kinmount to support groups or individual retreats.
