Shree Gaden Dhargay Ling Monastery was a great center of Buddhist learning of the Gelug tradition from the time of the VIIth Dalai Lama Kalsang Gyatso, and has since been under the abbotship of the lineage of high Gyuto Tantric University Lamas.
