The Art of Power...the Power of Art "mandala" is a Sanskrit word meaning circle, both the center and circumference. As an art form, it refers to circular art pieces, often symmetrical (but not always), frequently of a limited pallete (again, not always). As a tool for psycho-spiritual development, the mandala can reveal the inner being, helping us understand pieces of the subconscious mind; but it can also be used as a way of reshaping what goes into the mind in the first place. It is both map and steering wheel.
