Barbara Christopher, a master teacher, helps Remi Willoughby during TeacherTECH Houston which was held on June 6-17, 2005. This website is an archive of the webpages created by nearly 200 teachers and leaders who participated in the TeacherTECH workshops between June 1995 and June 2006. The participants were provided with Rice University web accounts and were given an intensive two-week overview of computer technology infused with a spicing of diversity training. Many, if not most returned to the classroom better able to deal with a student population that was learning the Internet and technology at a much faster pace that their teachers. These pages reflect the work that occured in the workshops, and (for many of the teachers) the continued effort to use those skills in the classroom. There are flaws here, to be sure, but feel free to explore and see what you can find. I emphasize that this is no longer an active website, so please don't e-mail corrections. Thanks.
