Description: Chartered in 1957, the Palos Verdes Peninsula Branch has grown from 63 leaders of our community to nearly 200 members. Friendship, networking, community action projects, and education are just some of the features offered.

Looking Forward: We’re Off and Running in the 21th Century The Palos Verdes Peninsula branch has been actively involved in our community since its founding in 1957. We started the first recycling center in our area and were centrally involved in the first program addressing domestic violence. We have a strong track record of working with schools and other organizations in our community who share our commitment. As the AAUW mission states, we advance equity for women and girls through advocacy, education, philanthropy, and research. And mostly, we just enjoy being together!
