I successfully defended my thesis on 3/31/2004 after 4.7 years After graduation, joined the faculty at the I am interested in a variety of computer vision, machine learning and robotics problems, including uncertainty and validation of image registration methods, spatio-temporal data fusion, automatically mapping of very large environments, object recognition and underwater robotics. Currently my research focuses on simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) with detection and tracking of moving objects (DATMO) problems.
