The Paranormal Post Office Pt. 1 First a few words on the senses. Most of us know that there are five senses, many believe there is a sixth, but scientists have discovered there are literally dozens of senses. These other senses are called sub-senses. For example when we touch something there is the sub-sense that tells us if something is hot or cold. This is different from the sub-senses that tells us if the object is hard or soft, smooth or coarse, flat or round, wet or dry. In seeing, the sense of color is very different from the detection of motion, of brightness, of 3-D, of shape. So we now know that the human mind is capable of sensing a wealth of information from the world around us.
