Sweet little Lucy, a 2-year old Chihuahua/Shih Tzu mix, is the last of the 2013 residents of the dogs here at the Shelter since her buddy Reuben got adopted. She has watched all her friends here leave with their new families only to realize she is the only one left. She wonders why she has not been chosen yet and truly hopes there is a family for her. She is a great little girl, fully vetted and well cared for. She is a bit needy - meaning she needs a family that will love her and hold and give her lots of love and attention. They will need to be patient with her as she needs guidance about potty training; she is willing to learn if you are willing to teach nicely. She will hide from very young children because they grab at her and sometimes scream, and she just gets scared. She is great with other dogs and will play with them once she knows they will not hurt her . So please think about this little girl, and also share her with everybody - she so deserves a home.
