Black Forest Animal Sanctuary - Home Thank you to all the volunteers, supporters and our community. We ran rescue teams in the fire area and helped to rescue approximately 1000 animals and some people from the smoke and flames.  We did evacuate for two weeks due to the smoke/fire coming very close and gave away or feed and supplies to help those in need. Our thoughts are with our friends and neighbors who lost their homes and animals in the fire. Donations are still needed to cover expenses, help with vet bills, and replace equipment and animal feed!
