The intent is to make us laugh, nod in agreement, or recall those dumb and curious events and rules-like rolling up sleeves instead of cutting them off! Even in combat or living in harsh conditions, we find time to joke and bitch about the country, weather, conditions, food, people, customs, leaders, staffs, and the Navy and Army in general. Recalling the day-to-day interesting events is the theme of the book-others have done a great job documenting the campaigns and personal experiences.
