Houston Area Law Librarians (HALL) A chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Houston Area Law Librarians (HALL) is a chapter of the American Association of Law Librarians. It began as an informal group that meet at lunch to exchange ideas and suggestions and the librarians meeting back then represented libraries of six law firms, four corporations, three law schools, and one city agency. HALL was organized formally in 1978 and became a chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries (AALL) in 1981.
