San Fernando Valley Audubon Society San Fernando Valley Audubon Society For Nature Education and the Conservation of Wildlife Posted on February 25th, 2014 by ann I am scheduled to teach Birds of Southern California at UCLA this Spring (April 5- May 31, 2014). The class includes four lecture meetings and four field trips on alternate Saturday mornings (0900-1200 hrs.). Lectures will include workshops on bird identification; field trips will include coastal, chaparral, riparian, montane and desert habitats. The class is suitable for beginning and intermediate-level birders for 2 units of transferable biology credit, or take the class for general interest credit/no credit.
