Description: Proposal by Robert M. Williams of the grounding on an submerged ice shelf rather than the hull breached by starboard side contact with an iceberg.
Deep Sea Explorations to Titanic, Bismarck and more! If you are unable to see the above graphic, Robert M. Williams first became fascinated with the Titanic when his grandmother presented him with a book titled, "The Sinking of the Titanic and Other Great Sea Disasters", written in 1912 by a Marshal Logan, when Williams was just 8 years old. Since then, he has spent his life learning about the ship and collecting everything Titanic related under the sun.
