Description: Lyndon H. LaRouche on why Roosevelt dumped Wallace as his Vice-President in 1944.
The Geometry of the Henry Wallace Nomination, by Lyndon H. LaRouche, Jr. The reason for the British-led campaign to prevent Henry A. Wallace's Summer 1944 Democratic Party nomination for a second term as President Franklin Roosevelt's Vice-President, was solely that Wallace was determined to continue the policies of a Franklin D. Roosevelt who was not expected to live out a fourth term as President. For that reason, and that reason alone, the Senator Harry S Truman whose views were acceptable to the British monarchy, was nominated to replace Wallace on that ticket.
