D Special Event: Invasion of the North, 2-4 July 2013 The 2nd US Cavalry, Company A/9th Regiment Virginia Cavalry, Company D, is a mounted reenactment and living history group dedicated to accurately portraying US Regular Cavalry and Confederate troopers during the American Civil War. Our members live in Virginia, Pennsylvania and Maryland and participate in battle reenactments, living histories for the National Park Service, and tactical competitions throughout the year.
