— The Name Day celebration and the consecration ceremony of the Holy Altar of St. Sarkis Armenian Church of Santa Clarita was held on Sunday, February 16, 2014. The celebration of the Divine Liturgy by Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian commenced at 10:30 a.m. The sanctuary was filled faithful as twelve children, dressed in church robes holding a cross, candles and fans in their hands, entered the church in a beautiful procession in celebration of the historic milestone in the life of the parish.
