Neurofeedback & QEEG Brain Mapping Welcome to Serendipity Healing Arts gets its name from our personal experience of chance encounters and life events. In 2006, we began to explore the use of biofeedback to teach self-regulation skills to patients who had experienced trauma from abuse and neglect. We began using biofeedback with our patients after seeing a demonstration of biofeedback software at a conference in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The following year, while giving a lecture in Seattle Washington and describing the benefits we were seeing from using biofeedback with our traumatized patients, a colleague suggested that we explore neurofeedback.
