A neighbor recognized Dunn from a composite sketch, and another identified the vehicle he was driving, according to court papers. Police say a conspicuous wound on Dunn's forehead helped witnesses, including two other young boys, help police identify him. Police found the boy on a bed in the master bedroom of the abandoned apartment Thursday evening, a block from the complex where Davry lives with his family. Court records show Dunn was convicted in 1985 of "indecent assault and battery" in Massachusetts, serving two years in prison and five years on probation, according to an official there who said details were no longer available. According to charging papers, Dunn collected unemployment benefits in 1990 while he was actually working at a hospital in Homer. |
